Tips for Pigs

• Pigs are messier than other animals. They are also shorter, requiring the Drinking Post to sit closer to the ground. This makes it easier for pigs to get the bowl dirty. You’ll want to consider this when planning your installation.
•  A good option is to put some gravel, rocks, or flagstone around the Drinking Post. This will prevent them from getting the area muddy. Depending on where you install your Post, you could also use a stall mat or something similar. (Note: if you want to use concrete, please call us first, as concrete is not usually recommended. • Also, be sure you install the Drinking Post at least 10-15 ft. away from their feed.
